Financial Planning and Acquisition
VFS provides financial planning and leasing alternatives to match the scope and duration of IT projects, including any buildings, property, equipment and professional services. Effective lease structuring for project financing allows customers to defer incurred costs until project revenue streams can be realized, instead of having to pay for all the assets and services up-front. Careful consideration is given to the CFO's financial requirements, not just technological needs, so that executives can focus more attention on core businesses.

Asset Management
IT asset management refers to scheduled technology refreshes and personalized asset tracking/reporting services. VFS offers these resources to help customers manage their leased asset portfolio from origination to end of lease. Individual representatives can be assigned to IT deployments for "high touch" customer service. This is crucial to project success for deployments that are national or global in scope.

Asset Recovery
VFS offers IT asset recovery services to customers for logistical convenience and in order to underwrite the risk of complying with environmental and regulatory laws regarding asset disposal. Part of an asset recovery offering includes the option to buy back older equipment so that the customer can benefit from the residual value of older assets and to enable a more cost effective migration to new technology. Anything of value, from parts such as disk drives, desktops, and servers, can be removed and resold. Moreover, since VFS has an excellent remarketing arm, the customer benefits from the highest fair market values available for used equipment. In short, VFS provides customers quick access to its resources in logistics (inventory, transportation, and storage), data wiping, equipment refurbishment and remarketing, and environmentally responsible equipment disposal. This is a critical capability particularly when migrating from one data center to another.
